Macy is coming to visit in 11 days. 

It took me about three seconds to know this was the picture that's my favorite of us. FAVORITE. I don't throw that word around lightly. For the first two seconds I thought that it would be the picture of us after we ran a half marathon faster than all the Kenyans or parasailing over the Atlantic ocean. Maybe us doing something really sassy. But then this picture flashed across my mind. It was taken the night I came home from Mesa, and I knew it was my favorite. Not because we're doing anything outrageously neat or posing glamorously -- it's definitely not my best picture. 
But it's my favorite. 

Because this is my sister.
And this is us.
